San Giorgio del Porto is proud to announce the delivery of the Green Heart, the second vessel in its "Green" line, a prime example of Green & Tech Shipbuilding excellence.

This highly advanced and sustainable vessel is destined for the Genova Trasporti Marittimi fleet, chaired by Beniamino Maltese and jointly owned by Gruppo Finsea and San Giorgio del Porto S.p.A.

Technology and Sustainability at the Core:

Hybrid battery-powered: Hybrid propulsion system with batteries capable of providing up to 25% of thrust with zero emissions.
Dual-fuel engines: Can run on methanol and bio-methanol.
Shore power connection: For electrical supply at berth, also enabling battery recharging.
Peak shaving systems: For energy saving.
Ducted azimuth thrusters: For advanced manoeuvrability in confined port areas.

With this unit, the shipyard strengthens its industrial vision: innovation, integration, and sustainability at the service of the maritime sector.
